Hi,

This is exactly the same place/website which I have been searching for. I love teaching and tutoring, especially online because you have a one-on-one contact with your student and so you can adjust your speed and style to his/her pace and his/her specific way of learning. I heard of this position after searching in the Google site with the keyword `Online Maths Tutoring`

I have been teaching various courses especially Maths as this is my most interesting subjects. In fact Maths subject have been my favorite since my childhood. Let me give some of my percentages in main grades. I secured 83%, 70% & 97% in 10th (Matriculation), 12th (Intermediate) & B.E.(Bachelor in Engineering) respectively. Since my Maths is too good, I have never rejected in Aptitude test, where you are not only supposed to solve the problems correctly but also solve it in quickest method.

I am ready to cope with answering any kind of question ranging from problems in algebra, trigonometry, height & distance, geometry, calculus, series of arithmetic and geometric progression, mathematical induction, binomial theorem, probability, statistics, quadratic equations, inequalities, complex numbers, differential equations, equations of 3-dimensional figures (sphere, plane, line), Mensuration (distance, area & volume)
Currently, besides searching for online tutoring job, I am working in 3Invent IT Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, India.
I have taught students in the community colleges. Here in India, We have to login in web4m and communityzero.com for tutoring the students online. I am well familiar with scriber and whiteboard. I really enjoy helping people understand math better.

Let me know how can I become a part of this organization and can serve.

regards,
Wikesh

I have four years experience teaching primary & high school students, mainly english & maths. I enjoy teaching science subjects & explaining things - considered (by my previous employers) patient & a good influence for kids.

Based upon my experience and skills, I believe I would be a suitable candidate for the position.

I am currently working as a curriculum assistant and Maths Teacher full-time.

However, I also have qualifications to the level of a Master's degree in Physics from educational institutions in France. I am eager and enthusiastic to begin my teaching career in the UK.

I have a great deal of experience working with young people, and this is something that I greatly enjoy. I have taught Maths and coached football clinics for young boys during this time I encountered a range of personalities some being more difficult than others. I find that children relate very well to my personality, and respond well to my teaching tactics no matter their disposition. My current position as a Maths teacher has allowed me to hone these techniques and skills, and I find myself an adept and effective teacher.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Joel

E & C

Methodical in approch, calm, patient, logical in analysis

I have taught quite a lot of students, especially Physics,Biology & Audiology etc. I love being with students and develop a kinship with them soon. I feel I am more like a friend rather than a teacher to them!!
Im sure you would be very comfortable while we both go ahead with the studies...

I have the patience, so students can ask any difficult part at any time during the lesson.
I pay attention to the way how student tackle problems and concern on minimizing mistakes from their Exams.
I concern more on doing past papers and practice exams under exam conditions.
I always use simple examples to explain complex theory.
*For Physics , I try to provide practical background using web sites and CDROMs.

I expect the student to inform me of the issues to be discussed before each tutorial (for example: motion, vectors, forces, etc.) so that I can make proper preparation to ensure a high efficiency in the 2-hour duration and make the tutorial more oriented.

I would always like to use graphs and examples to demonstrate the knowledge on textbooks to make the principles or theories easier to understand and memorize.

I will ask the students to go through several typical and comprehensive questions related with the knowledge taught in the last tutorial, as the beginning of each tutorial. In this way I can figure out if the student really mastered the knowledge. If not, I don’t mind to re-go through the previous knowledge before starting a new topic.

I pay more attention to the way how the students solve questions, rather than just the results as the method will be extremely beneficial for the student not only in Physics. In the mean time I will also check that the students will not make careless mistakes in their calculations to avoid losing unnecessary points in exams.

In each tutorial, the schedule is designed as follows, but more flexible rather than fixed:
15~30min: Questions for last tutorial
10~20min: General review of the key points
60~80min: Step by step solving questions on the textbooks
Rest: Conclusions or further discussions
