Firstly, having achieved an ENTER (or ATAR as it is now known) score of 98.70 puts me right up there with the top 1.3% of the population, in addition to this, I have previous experience teaching. I in my gap year, I volunteered on a remote island of Vanuatu, a small village with no electricity nor running water. There, I was teaching the local kids English, health, music and what they called "trees" (land environment). The culture in Vanuatu is extremely different and thus I had to adapt to the needs of every class and every children
In my preparation for Vanuatu, I also volunteered at the local primary school. I initially observed and then assisted teachers and also helped some students with special needs achieve their best
I also have previously been a tutor/mentor in a high school-run programme and whilst completing year 12, other students frequently asked me for help if the teacher was not available.
