I am an undergraduate at Stanford University, California. I am majoring in Art History and graduate from Stanford in December of 2009.

I'm a kiwi (originally from New Zealand) currently on exchange for one year at Sciences Po from the University of Melbourne in Australia. I specialise in political science and social theory. My academic achievements attest to my competence with the English language. In high-school, I achieved the top mark in New Zealand for English literature two years in a row. In my last year of high-school I also completed two courses in "classical studies" at the University of Auckland, and received the highest marks in this endeavour. I have been awarded numerous scholarships. Additionally, I have received the "Dean's award" at Melbourne University for achieving grades in the top 1% of students and have achieved the top mark in English Literature for two consecutive years. I have never scored below an A+. That said, I am also an experienced and personable tutor. Years of tutoring the refugee community in Melbourne have awarded me indefatigable patience and clarity when tutoring. I have an accommodating timetable and can work to fit with your needs. I have three years tutoring experience and love getting to know my students and working out what works best for them, whether it be visual aids or mind maps, etc. I try to teach creatively, adapting my style to each student and always aim for a relaxed, fun atmosphere.
