I am a qualified (PhD) and experienced Russian language tutor, native speaker, member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI), member of IoL (Chartered Institute of Linguists)

I would be delighted to give lessons to determined learners, who are eager to build up their current knowledge or to start from scratch, and who are committed to achieving a certain level in a very short time, from elementary to higher advanced level, preparation for GCSE and A Level exams.


My professional focus is on improving conversational skills using fast-track techniques, intensive speaking activities, discussions, developing grammar and vocabulary, the key phrases and expressions that can be used in real life situations. Subjects of discussion covering a variety of topics: Finance, Marketing, Law and Business with an extensive usage of vocabulary and specialist terminology.

My hourly rate is: £20 including teaching material.

Enthusiastic and keen to make others so about the given subject as in order to succeed it\'s important you have a passion for your subject! I am patient, and understanding of the challenges faced when learning and improving in something that might not come naturally. I would like to think I make lessons as enjoyable as they can be!

In 2010, I graduated with a BSc in International Relations from the University of Southampton, and at the moment I am doing MSc in Politics and Government in the European Union at the London School of Economics (LSE). Being qualified teacher (master\'s degree) and journalist,I am passionate about teaching languages and music. Ideally I would like to teach Russian, Ukrainian, piano and theory of music in bilingual (multilingual) families.
Revealing and developing children\'s talents and skills at early age is very important to achieve distinguished results. Having my longterm experience of working and communicating with different people (professionals and students), I am convinced that lessons must not be boring, they have to be exciting. With children I like reasonably combined teaching and playing. With young students I apply more strict discipline.
But in both groups I always encourage creative thinking, researching skills and initiative.
