I am an effective teacher able to use different teaching methods, which are pupil friendly. I am calm and understand pupil's. Rates are £5-10 per hour.

As a tutor it is easy to run through these sorts of subjects like a mathematics equation. There is , however, always a great deal of understanding needed in order to 'get into' philosophy or sociology. I can know that "Pi r squared" finds the area of a circle but in philosophy this isn's enough; we need to know why and how, we need to get to a stage of understanding that doesn't manifest its self in a simple equation. The skill of being a good tutor (and helping students attain this underastanding) is in the articulation of these more tender points and the engagement associated with this methodology.
