This edition analyzes 49 of 11.754 active or paused DACH profiles. A price is only included if duration and currency are known. All amounts apply to 60 minutes.
This platform sample describes offered prices. It is not a representative survey of the tutoring market.

How the figures are produced
Evaluated are active and paused tutor profiles on Nachhilfe-Vermittlung.com with a positive numeric price, an explicitly specified lesson duration and a currency. 45, 60 and 90 minutes are converted to 60 minutes for calculation. EUR and CHF are kept separate; no currency conversion is performed. Each account is counted once. Test and administration accounts are excluded. Recognizable prior imports from automated text analyses are excluded as a precaution. Stored estimates are not evaluated. The remaining data are profile prices, not independently verified contractual or market prices. For legacy records the original entry may not be fully reconstructable. Country and location values are shown only from five profiles onward. Locations are grouped by place name and country; identical place names within a country may be merged. The selection is not a representative sample. Missing prices, unknown units and currencies, and the usage of this platform affect the composition. Group lessons, qualifications, subject and travel costs are not controlled. Prices may be outdated; the data status refers to the time of evaluation, not the tutor’s most recent confirmation.
Mean, median and middle 50%
The mean is the arithmetic average. The median splits the sorted prices into two halves. The middle 50% lies between the 25th and 75th percentiles; percentiles are linearly interpolated. None of these measures is a price recommendation or a confidence interval.
The data download also includes a 5% trimmed mean. For this, floor(n × 0.05) values are removed on each side. With fewer than 20 profiles no values are removed. No prices are arbitrarily discarded as outliers.
What this output does not yet show
Comparable time series and consistent attributes are missing for price trends, inflation effects, subject and level comparisons. Such statements will be added once suitable data are available. Creating a ranking of the most expensive cities would give a false impression of completeness with the current coverage and is therefore not produced.
