I have experience with classroom Instruction for SAT included reviewing basic skills and test taking strategies while disciplining students into a prep curriculum. I also performed personalized diagnostic analysis and helped place students into classes. I also counselled high school students in small groups. I also conducted intensive SAT workshops for Writing and Critical Reading strategies. For some students that prefered individual attention, I tailored Tutorial sessions for private in-home instruction to meet their needs and schedules. I prepared and planned my tutoring sessions in cordance with the lectures of the professor's curriculum. My biggest challenge was designing a lesson plan for all students alike, developing a strategy to help them master all the skills they need. I assigned practice problems and homework assignments relevant to the subject matter and followed up by reviewing the strategies used to guide the student through exercises exclusive to the entrance test they are prepping for.

I am very patient and always work with humour. I will tailor my course to your needs and expectarions and according to the reasons you want to learn the English language.

I have taught Tutorial courses at Harvard for five years and have received teaching awards. I am keen on personalising all my teaching and am very patient with students. I can teach all IB subjects, as I had a very heavy science and maths background in high school.

I have five years experience teaching to non-English speaking students both in Saudi Arabia and in the Philippines. I did private Tutorial with students from Portugal, Pakistan, Indonesia, and China.

I love teaching.

I have worked for around 12 years as a math and Science teacher ,so I can understand the level of difficulties in these subjects faced by the students

I expect the student to inform me of the issues to be discussed before each Tutorial (for example: motion, vectors, forces, etc.) so that I can make proper preparation to ensure a high efficiency in the 2-hour duration and make the Tutorial more oriented.

I would always like to use graphs and examples to demonstrate the knowledge on textbooks to make the principles or theories easier to understand and memorize.

I will ask the students to go through several typical and comprehensive questions related with the knowledge taught in the last Tutorial, as the beginning of each Tutorial. In this way I can figure out if the student really mastered the knowledge. If not, I don’t mind to re-go through the previous knowledge before starting a new topic.

I pay more attention to the way how the students solve questions, rather than just the results as the method will be extremely beneficial for the student not only in physics. In the mean time I will also check that the students will not make careless mistakes in their calculations to avoid losing unnecessary points in exams.

In each Tutorial, the schedule is designed as follows, but more flexible rather than fixed:
15~30min: Questions for last Tutorial
10~20min: General review of the key points
60~80min: Step by step solving questions on the textbooks
Rest: Conclusions or further discussions

I have been a part-time Chinese mandarin tutor in Sydney for a while. I can teach both children and adults. Most of my students started from very basic Chinese pinyin, phonetics, vocabularies, and sentence strutures as they did not know Chinese before. Now they have made great progress and can converse in simple Chinese not only in speaking but also writing. I can understand language learning is not an easy progress, as a teacher it is important to find effective ways of teaching depending on different characteristic of different students and being patient to the students at the same time. I am a young enthusiastic teacher, currently working as a Year 6 teacher in a primary school. I have 5 years work experience in the UK and Australia with many age groups. I also tutored Maths privately for Numberworks for 3 years.

I am very skilled at making subjects interesting for the child. Usually weak students are weak because they lose interest in subjects. Also they miss out on earlier concepts which are necessary to understand their present level of subject. One has to take them backward and teach the basics so that they understand the present concepts easily. It may take some time but every student, I believe, can improve himself significantly... Making the subjects interesting, going to the basics, trusting and respecting brings about dramatic results... I do just that!

students who are intrested in practical knowledge on different technical aspects and better understanding of the subjects can come to me.

I am a very experienced qualified tutor and to date 99% of my students in the last 9 years have passed their exams at all levels in all the subjects that they were taught.

Focused on the subjects, friendly, understand student needs, ability to repeat a few times and use different approach if need to and for sure patient
