As a tutor it is easy to run through these sorts of subjects like a mathematics equation. There is , however, always a great deal of Understanding needed in order to 'get into' philosophy or sociology. I can know that "Pi r squared" finds the area of a circle but in philosophy this isn's enough; we need to know why and how, we need to get to a stage of Understanding that doesn't manifest its self in a simple equation.
